Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SkillenceOS (“the platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users — students, professionals, institution administrators, and company representatives.

2. Who can use SkillenceOS

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has consented to your use. Institutional access requires authorisation from a designated administrator at your college or company.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Do not share your login. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@skillenceos.site if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide false information about your skills, experience, or qualifications
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without written permission
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code
• Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm other users
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the platform without prior written consent
• Upload malicious content, spam, or anything that violates applicable law
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

5. AI-generated content

SkillenceOS uses AI to generate study roadmaps, OA practice questions, resume suggestions, and interview prep. This content is generated based on your profile data and is for personal use. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before submitting it to employers or institutions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any specific purpose.

6. Placement outcomes

SkillenceOS is a preparation and matching platform. We do not guarantee employment, placement, interview calls, offer letters, or any specific outcome. Placement results depend on many factors outside our control, including hiring company decisions, market conditions, and your individual performance.

7. Paid plans and billing

Paid plans (Student Pro, Season Pass, Professional) are billed in advance for the period selected. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any paid features. Contact billing@skillenceos.site for refund requests.

8. Intellectual property

All platform content — including the SkillenceOS name, logo, assessment questions, roadmap templates, and UI — is owned by Perfect Skills and protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Content you create on the platform (your profile, resume, uploaded documents) remains yours. By using the platform, you grant us a limited licence to process and display that content to provide the service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perfect Skills is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost employment opportunities, loss of data, or business losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Sections 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SkillenceOS will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
